Round 2 was accompanied by an influx of challengers that stretched from South Orange County, California to Phoenix Arizona.  Challengers that attended filled up Classes S.4 to S.2 with a good mix of skills.

All of the drivers were able to garner merit in their own right though, either by truly sending it for a PR or by pushing their equipment to the utmost limit.

Shane threw down a 2:01.799 for his first time at the track, and although having to bail from his car because the turbo catching fire, recorded the fastest time of the day for Subie Challenge.  C.J. Banton and Huey “Duey” also suffered defeat from mechanical issues, but not without having fun putting down 2:25.800 and 2:20.310, respectively, on this smooth sweeping track.

All Surface Racing team driver, Aaron Bassham put down a 2:06.568 for a 2nd place podium.


Sally McNulty’s 300tw tires that she turned into slicks in order to put down a time of 2:09.679.

It was truly amazing to see all the Subie Challengers come out to Round 2.  This round shows that Subie Challenge was in full swing.  Check here for the Round 2 Results!
